The saying ‘good things come in small packages’ can certainly be the case with two additions to the Five Senses family. Mooba in Wembley and Stimulatté in Subiaco. Both are physically small but each are renowned for youth, super-friendliness and fantastic coffee.
Mooba is a small takeaway box of smiles and conversation on the corner of Cambridge and Jersey Streets in Wembley and opened in
December of last year. They have quickly established themselves as a place to go for consistent quality coffee and was recently rated as one of the best five cafés in Perth — in only ten weeks of operation. Manager, Paul, was recently quoted in a West Australian newspaper article about their devotion to the bean for it’s freshness and quality. It also stated that the reporter noticed his super friendly nature and willingness to chat. Mooba uses a 2 Group Synesso Sabre.
Stimulatté, on the other hand, is located at 316 Hay Street in Subiaco and has been opened for some time. Owners Joel and Peta recently commenced a journey in search of quality fresh coffee. Their premises is small but their infectious smiles and enthusiasm well and truly make up for their tiny real estate. In time Joel and Peta’s team of young baristas will no doubt propel them into the list of contenders for the throne of “Top Five Cafés”. Look out for the odd West Coast Eagles player while you’re there — they seem to love the place.
If you’re in the area — drop in and give Mooba or Stimulatté a visit. You’ll see exactly what we’re talking about when you taste the coffee and experience their friendly service.
