Five Senses Coffee stole the show at the Australian Web Industry Association’s prestigious WA Web Awards, winning in each category they were finalists. The WA Web Awards showcase Western Australia’s most amazing websites. Awards are presented to the most creative, innovative, best looking and best functioning websites created and launched during the year.

We learned in October that Five Senses was a finalist in two categories, Best Retail Business and Click ’n’ Mortar. There was a flurry of excitement at our table as the MC announced the three finalists for each category and with a long pause for the envelope opening we were announced the winner of Best Retail Business site first up.

High fives and toasts were exchanged all around the table as Jordan, our incredibly talented web developer, made his way up to the stage to accept the first award. Jordan, together with Ash and Bree, worked long and hard redeveloping our website from the ground up, so the rest of us here were happy to see them basking in a well-deserved moment of glory!

Jordan didn’t even get much of a chance to sit down when in a rapid case of de ja vu we were announced the winner of the second category immediately after.

Five Senses appear to also be a crowd favourite with people from the crowd shouting out “we love your coffee!” on both occasions Jordan made his way to the stage.

Dean was obviously proud of the accomplishment and has already bagsed the [trophies] for his office. “All too often we tend to use the quality of our coffee and our standard of customer support as a measure of our excellence. Any success that we have had as a company has been built off great infrastructure. All too often these foundational departments are the unsung heroes of companies that end up achieving great things. Tonight’s award celebrates this and pays tribute to Jordan, Ash and Bree who have been so instrumental in developing our website.”
