"Welcome to Five Senses Coffee"

Tipped to be named Liar Liar, the newest café in Hawthorn, Victoria is on track for it’s official opening later this month, according to co-owner and WA Barista Champ, Nolan Hirte.

Originally the site for an old art gallery, the café can certainly boast individuality and style but for co-owners Nathan and Diamond, the first item on the agenda was a mammoth demolition involving structural changes. A hole in the wall for takeaway service was followed by the beginnings of a slick custom refit with booths, wall-features and exceptionally unique lightboxes.

The following few weeks will see the finishing touches applied to this masterpiece … a mixing desk for vinyl records sunk into the end of the espresso bar, a three group Synesso Cyncra (with Reg Barber retro fittings), and the third Clover in Australia arriving in situ.
