"Welcome to Five Senses Coffee"

Many readers have been asking about the progress of Dana’s pregnancy and as expected Dana’s baby couldn’t wait to get out into the world and was born two weeks early on Sunday 21 October at 9:34pm.

Weighing in at 3.7kgs and measuring 52cm, Sage Lee Longton was induced following a routine check-up.

Dana had only been on maternity leave for two weeks when she had to go to the hospital so the baby could undergo a routine heart monitoring test. The doctor became quite concerned Dana’s liver wasn’t functioning properly. The doctor then asked her to come back in the morning so they could repeat the test. After coming back at 8am the doctor decided to induce her straight away.

So in short … Dana went to hospital for a quick test and then voilla! — she left with a baby.

Now both mother and baby are home and both are happy and healthy. Sage loves his regular walks in the pram and Dana has already got back into the yoga.

Sage already has a Five Senses t-shirt courtesy of the crew and after only two weeks has already spoken his first words, which were, “I want to be a roaster”.
