If you’re just starting to pump out a handful of coffees for the relatives and friends, keep this in mind: the pressurised water from your machine will take the easiest path through your coffee grinds — make sure it doesn’t have a chance to ‘channel’ by using a Coffee Leveller to distribute the grinds into the shallow areas and then to level any excess grinds off into your dosing chamber.
