Sumatra — Lintong
Most Sumatran coffee is grown around the Lake Toba region, in the north of the country. Until recently, Sumatran coffees have not commonly been sold by a particular region, as the flavour characteristics come from the quality of the picking, preparation and processing of the coffee, rather than regional influences such as climate and soil type. Sumatran Lintong is one of Australia’s most popular premium grade Sumatran coffees. Lintong Nihuta is a popular coffee growing sub-region south west of Lake Toba.
