This class explains the basics of specialty coffee service – what makes a  specialty service different (and more special) than others? We’ll set goals for proper service of specialty coffee and learn to discuss your coffee offering with customers. We’ll be looking at where coffee comes from and how it is processed, the difference between single origins and blends, and describe and taste different ways to prepare coffee.

This class is recommended for people who are looking to gain some context around specialty coffee, or have been recently hired as floor staff or baristas in a specialty café.
