Five Senses will be shutting down the roasters at 12pm Tuesday 24 of December 2019, and will be firing them back up on Thursday 2 January 2020.

So your orders aren’t left in courier limbo over the break, all orders placed after 4pm Thursday 19 December will be roasted and sent in the new year.

Samambaia, Catucaí

We have a long history with Fazenda Samambaia as it is one of the core members of Santo Antonio Estates. It is both gorgeously kept and historic. Owned by the Cambraias’s since the 19th century, it’s the executive operator is now Henrique Cambraia. Yellow Catucaí has Timor hybrid lineage and is a cross between Icatú and Catuaí. This year’s Samambaia Yellow Catucaí has been chosen for its supreme creaminess and balance expect orange oil, golden raisins with a smooth body and lingering aftertaste.

Although Samambaia has numerous varietals planted, this year’s Samambaia Yellow Catucaí has been chosen for its supreme creaminess and balance expect orange oil, golden raisins with a smooth body and lingering aftertaste.

This coffee is unique as it is not often found in the Australian market. Yellow Catucaí has Timor hybrid lineage and is a cross between Icatú and Catuaí.
