Unwind at The Dizzy Witch

The Dizzy Witch seems as though it was specially designed to make you relax. There are comfy couches scattered around, a huge variety of newspapers and up-to-date magazines, even a bookshelf with plenty of books for you to choose from. There are a couple of chess buffs poring over their moves at the long dining table, and another table engaged in a game in the far corner. I spy a couple of sneaky business meetings — and why not, when you can take advantage of The Dizzy Witch’s free Wifi, bring the laptop, and savour a great coffee at the same time.
The Barista Academy trained team know their stuff, and always greet you with a friendly smile. Queuing up behind the regulars, who present their frequent coffee cards, the hiss and hum of the La Marzocco is music to my ears.
I tuck myself away on a leather couch behind a leafy Draecena, and let the ebb and flow of the cafe wash over me. The open kitchen gives the cafe a homely feel. The sounds and smells that drift out from the kitchen start my mouth watering, and as I catch sight of other people’s dishes coming out, I start to wonder whether I’ve made the right choice. Everything looks so good!
My breakfast arrives, and I know I’ve chosen well. The Moroccan Eggs, served on Turkish bread, with hommus, home made dukkah, mint and red onion, are fantastic. The quality of the products really shines through. The Dizzy Witch feature the best — organic bread from Abhi’s Bakery, double smoked organic ham, home smoked free range chicken and home made hommus, dressings and relishes. Peter and the team have established a name for themselves in corporate catering, and also play host to business meetings and functions at the cafe.
If you’re looking for a quiet place to kick back and enjoy a quality Fairtrade organic coffee and a bite to eat, The Dizzy Witch in Northbridge is just what you need.
