The journey from cherry to cup would not be possible without many important relationships along the way. A critical part of this, from both a logistics and an ethical buying standpoint, is the relationships we have with exporters, importers, mills and collectives.

Acacia Hills

This coffee estate in Tanzania is a partnership of growers and roasters. Owned by Mark Stell (Portland Roasting Company) and Leon and Aideen Christianakis (local Tanzanian coffee farmers), this relationship is a powerful combo that works to elevate coffee in the entire Ngorongoro region.

Raw Material

Raw Material is a social enterprise coffee exporter helps maximise the impact coffee can have. Their buying model allows the network of small-holder farms they work with to enjoy a stable and sustainable income. With 100% of the profit generated going to producers, directly through payments for coffee and through community-level investments, Raw Material work to improve more than just the coffee quality but also the local communities.

SanCoffee

SanCoffee is comprised of over 20 fazendas (estates), many of whom are well known in their own right; often placing in the Brazil Cup of Excellence. We’re proud to have a long history with this coop, stretching back to 2012! Coffee from their member estates supply the backbone of some of well-love house blends, as well as some bangin’ lots both as single varietals and experimental processing types.
